I.D.S. provides
a complete decorating service for all commercial
premises such as offices, shops, hotels, nightclubs and
restaurants. We often work out of hours on commercial
sites so that they can still carry on with there normal
day to day work without the disruption of having
tradesman on site. So as they are going home we are
just arriving to carry out our work and by the time
they come back the next morning we are gone and all
they are left with is a nice newly decorated
workplace.
RECENT PROJECT:
A large Data centre in Essex:
The facilities manager and I had a meeting when I was called in to price for some work that needed carrying out in the building. I asked the manager if he liked the existing product that had been used in the building and he replied although it was nice and bright when it was first done he found that the walls were very hard to keep clean with lots of scuff marks in high traffic areas, being the flagship site for this particular company he told me that the building had to look like new at all times because of all the important clients that visited the building. I suggested using a different product to the matt emulsion that was already on the walls. The product I suggested was slightly more expensive than matt emulsion but that extra cost would be saved in the long term because he would not have to pay out every time a wall got marked because with the new product the mark would wipe off. The facilities manager agreed to sample the new product in 6 offices and two main corridors. After 2 months he came back to me and asked if I could paint the rest of the building in the new product as he was so impressed with it in the areas that we had sampled.

So 3 months and
200 gallons of paint later this building is now
completed to a very high standard, so much so that I
have now been asked to use the same product on other
sites around the country which are owned by the same
company.
